‘It felt impossible to ditch ‘The Hustle’

Let’s be honest.

Although you know that it’s not a sustainable productivity strategy, there is this belief that, unless you are grinding, working, and suffering every waking hour, you’re not doing enough. I also believed the same.

Until I burned out.

I didn’t know what was happening. Or what caused that reaction

And I dedicated every waking hour to my first business.
I started my day at 5:00 AM with yoga, followed by a healthy breakfast, journaling, and then 12 hours of work—every single day.
From Monday to Sunday.

And you know what? It felt so good.

I felt that I was aligned with my purpose, with who I was.

And then, on one day, a regular day,
something happened.

‘That’s it. I will not be able to continue running the business anymore’

After going through my daily and (usual) frantic routine, I collapsed onto the sofa, unusually exhausted and overwhelmed.

I was very tired, which was not typical for me.

I didn’t know what caused that reaction.

Then, I started to cry.
I couldn’t stop it. I didn’t understand why.

It felt so overwhelming and I was tired like never before.

It's one of these situations where you'd press a button and escape directly to your corner of the world, just to be at peace.

Alone.
